After shooting with Niki at the end of 2022 and returning home from travels I went into a bit of a hiatus for a few months as I focused on work. The DSLR was broken and needed returning to Canon for repair and I had more than enough images to keep me busy through the winter processing wise.
As sure as night follows day though, the short and bleak winter days gradually became longer and the sun began to return. I’d been speaking with Babalon via a social media app and she’d expressed an interest in shooting anonymously. Having never met and with her being very new to modelling we decided we’d start things off just by spending an afternoon together and getting to know each other over a coffee.
And so that’s how I found myself on a beautiful April day hopping on the train and heading to a nearby city which was convenient for the both of us.
After meeting we immediately grabbed a hot drink and let our feet take over as we wandered aimlessly and let the conversation flow. Looking for somewhere to sit down that was quiet we headed to a hidden Elizabethan gardens that I knew of. And from there the unexpected kicked in. Before I knew it Babalon’s clothes were on the floor and we were embarking on a mini-shoot (using my phone as the camera was at home!) and bouncing ideas off each other.
The following photos are a taste of what we created that afternoon. The vibe we were looking for was ‘erotic art’ and I hope that’s what we captured. Let me know what you think!
