After shooting with Fernie in Pattaya and returning to the 9-5 in England the camera was firmly packed away for the summer with no real idea of when it’d next see the light of day. I mean, I had a big enough image backlog to keep me plenty occupied for the foreseeable!
After couple of months had passed though I unexpectedly found myself dusting it off .. like London buses, two opportunities to use it again landed on the same September weekend. The first of these was a return visit to the capital … almost two years to the day since I’d last been. The second? Well, you’ll see in the next post.
Why was I in London? Well, it’s about a girl! I’m not going to go into much detail, especially as she might read this and I’d hate to embarrass her! All I’ll say is that for several years I’d been chatting with a lovely and inspirational model in the north of England, but we’d never had the opportunity to meet or shoot. Then all of a sudden she asked if I was in London the coming weekend as she’d be there and she hoped to meet. And that was it for me, I was going to be there come rain or shine. Not for photos mind, just for the chance to finally meet her face to face. And so I did. And was it worth it? All that way just for one coffee and 60 minutes of her time? Even missing my bus back home again? Yes. Yes it was. 100%. Hope to see you again.
So these aren’t photos of her, but whilst I was waiting to meet her I took a few shots around Chinatown and Leicester Square and thought I’d share them here.
The following day, a model shoot in Exeter … and they’re up next!
