The good news with this post is that if you prefer it in visual form, then I also pretty much vlogged all of it and you can see the video right here on my You Tube Channel.
November 2023 came along and it was again time for another trip to Thailand. I can’t say I especially planned this one well and aside from one photoshoot in Bangkok (which will come next) I had almost no plans. Sometimes that’s the best way though!
After those first few days in Bangkok I headed down to Pattaya with the intention of sleeping a lot, eating Thai food, drinking as much coffee in the day as I could (and beer at night) and when I felt like it, taking some photos.
It was a mix of a time as you’ll see. I photographed two sunsets (though messed up the first with a dirty filter), spent an afternoon photographing the streets around Soi Buakhao and LK Metro in the heart of the city and even managed a day trip to Khao Kheow Open Zoo, which is a fairly short drive from Pattaya (unfortunately Moo Deng had not yet arrived!).
Overall it was a fun week and a half. My main regret is not bothering with the sunsets until later in the stay and then managing to mess up one of the ones that I did. I also should have spent some more time on the street photography (illness kind of put an end to that). The trip to the zoo was an unexpected surprise and I have to thank my friend Yupa for suggesting it and taking me there. We had planned to go to Ko Lan on a daytrip too but in the end that never happened. So that’s one adventure still on the list for a future date!
Without boring you further, here’s a selection of photos from the trip!
