Wow … it’s always my aim to put up a post every month at least and here we are, 2 months since the last one. Oops!
We’re still back in 2023 as far as these posts go and it’s time to share the images from the only photoshoot I managed on this trip. It actually happened on the first full day again whilst I was still settling into Bangkok time and it was with a brand new model (to me) – Alisa Eve.
At the time of writing I’ve actually shot with Eve a further two times, which I think goes to show just how highly I think of her and how great she was to work with. This one is also vlogged, so if you fancy watching the video version then just click here!
So, back to November 2023 and that first full day after arriving. As standard, I woke up late morning with an inevitable hangover after spending too much time at a bar listening to a Beatles cover band and some unwise decisions in Nana Plaza. Heading out for some coffee whilst the room was cleaned though cleared my head enough for me to prepare for the afternoon. Tom n Tom’s on Sukhumvit (open 24/7) is my shop of choice when here!
I’d first learned about Eve after seeing her work with another photographer on Flickr and thought she had a great look. On meeting her I was blown away by her kind and friendly personality, plus her posing and modelling was so confident and natural and the longer the afternoon went on, the better and better she got. Lighting was tough in quite a dark room, but we rolled with it and got some images I’m really pleased with.
As it would turn out, this was the only shoot of this trip – but oh boy was it a good one. When I went back again in the early summer of the following year she was the first person I arranged to see again!
