I’d been to a couple of these before as the guest of Shokushu Boutique (now evolved into E Rivessa) and had a really fun time taking photos (even if in my opinion they were terrible when compared to the proper fashion photographers who shoot the event!).
This time though I was asked along purely as a guest, to show my support and enjoy the amazing work that had been created. It was a cold February and I fancied an adventure, so readily accepted the invitation.
Arriving in the morning I had a walk around Paddington snapping a few pics whilst I looked out for a place to get a nice cooked breakfast. In the end I found myself sat down in the Aberdeen Steak House. Well, it did the job.
I got myself along to the venue in plenty of time and perched up as close to the photographers as possible. I figured whilst I was there I may as well try and grab some shots. It was a super show and for me, the absolute highlight was the designs from Shokushu Boutique. I won’t pretend that I know anything about fashion, but I’m confident in saying these designs are brave and eye-catching. Top work.
As a little highlight, I also got to meet amazing Louisa Lu who had also been invited along as a guest. Louisa is a model who I’ve wanted to work with for a long time and after finally getting to say hello we eventually ended up shooting together in March of this year (2025). I’ll get to those edits eventually!
Anyway, in the meanwhile here’s my snaps from the day … just for fun. I also vlogged this one, so y’know, you can also check that out here!
