After the first few nights in Bangkok it was time to take the familiar route down to Pattaya for the bulk of my stay.
This the point where I kind of unplug and put up my feet. Most of my time in Pattaya is spent in coffee shops or the swimming pool during the day and in random rock bars at night sinking several beers. If I can though, I aim to fit in a shoot and this time I was very fortunate to be joined by Fernie who travelled down from Bangkok to see me.
The first time we’d met was back in 2019 and we’d had an awesome shoot in my hotel on Soi 5. This was eclipsed when we met again shortly after Covid in 2022 in Bangkok on one of my most memorable shoots. Put simply, I just had to work with her again!
I found myself staying on Soi 5 once again, funnily enough directly opposite the hotel I’d stayed in way back in 2019. When I first arrived I was thrilled at the quality and size of the room … but the next morning this gave way to some disappointment when I realised there was almost no natural light making it’s way into the room. I had no strobe and this could be tricky …
Fortunately for me, Fernie came to the rescue and said we could use her hotel to work in … and my luck was in as she’d booked a room with a sea view which enjoyed some great afternoon light.
The shoot went really well I felt and I think we got better and better the longer it went on. We covered a variety of concepts from lingerie to art nude and erotic art. All good things come to an end though and after we were finished we strolled over to Treetown to grab a drink and some food and eventually, say our goodbyes.

Fernie awesome and her career just seems to go from strength to strength. Hopefully I can catch up with her again on a future trip!
